First off, what is a micro amenity? We define it as something you can add to your listing for guest enjoyment that costs less than $500. Micro amenities serve to help catch guests' attention on the Airbnb platform and help your listing stand out against others in your market.

Choosing the right micro amenities can help you book more guests and charge higher rates. Why? Because people want to stay in places that have "things" they do not have in their own homes and apartments. Micro amenities include fire pits, hammocks, corn hole games, tree houses, bbq grills, kayaks. The list is endless and the good news is you can use your profits from Airbnb stays to finance the addition of the amenities that make the most sense for your space and guests.

I personally booked an apartment in Prague just because it had a hanging basket chair? It just seemed so fun and whimsicle - something that would make our vacation that much more interesting.
